New Students Projects

Dear student, the following new projects are offered by me. If you want to apply for one or propose your own project, please come to see me during my consultation time.

Curl - New internet programming
We study the programming language Curl and develop first, small projects. We want to discover features and shortcomings of Curl.

Online Computing III
Online Computing goes into the third round. The existing system should be provided with additional features: More languages, more desktop utilies. We want to add a new login/logout behavior, help files, trailors, more graphics and discuss some security issues.

FIT - Online Activity Calendar
In this project we want to develop an online calender for our faculty. In the calender lecturers are allowed to enter special activities like meetings, seminares, ..., but also anouncments of dealines, papers submissions,.. The calender is personalizable by each user, so he can add more activities in his own calender not to be seen by the other users.

Implementing the Cook Theorem
Cook proved, that SAT is as hard as all the other NP algorithms by giving us a transformation algorithm. The proof is part of the Algorithm Analysis class. We want to implement the algorithm for demonstration purposes.

Configurational Programming
Configurational programming languages have no local variables, everything is global. We develop an editor, compiler and runtime environment for such a programming language.

A Memocard Builder
Memocards are small notes you can use for memorizing and learning facts. Here we develop a small program, where we can create, store, edit and even print such cards.
